WHAT EXACTLY IS BIO-MATCHA EXTRACT?

Kosho Organic Matcha Extract is the essence of Japanese Organic Matcha Green Tea. This is refined in a special manufacturing process in Switzerland to a highly effective organic Matcha extract. It is purely organic and gives the Matcha Effective line all its power. Further information can be found under the heading “Effect”.

WHAT IS MATCHA GREEN TEA?

Matcha is a green tea (Camelia sinensis) ground into the finest powder, which has been used for centuries in Japanese tea ceremonies. It has an intense green colour and a sweet-sweet taste. It is very rich in important catechins, vitamins and amino acids. Further information can be found under the heading “Matcha”.

HOW DOES BIO-MATCHA EXTRACT WORK ON THE SKIN?

The high concentration of valuable antioxidants, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), protects your skin cells from cell changes caused by free radicals, UV radiation and other harmful environmental influences. Further information can be found under the heading “Effect”.

WHAT SKIN TYPE IS KOSHO MATCHA EFFECTIVE SUITABLE FOR?

Kosho Matcha Effective has been developed for dry and mature skin and is particularly suitable for these skin types.

HAVE KOSHO MATCHA EFFECTIVE PRODUCTS BEEN TESTED FOR THEIR SKIN COMPATIBILITY?

All Kosho products have been tested for compatibility by an independent institute. The test was carried out in a panel with volunteers. The institute confirms a very good tolerability.

WHY DOES THE KOSHO SMART PROTECTION CREAM NOT HAVE A LIGHT PROTECTION FACTOR?

Kosho does not use classic (chemical or mineral) sun protection filters in day creams, but a natural substance that is formed by bacteria in nature. This protects the skin with a different active principle than conventional filters. Therefore the natural sun protection of Kosho Matcha Effective cannot be named with the usual sun protection factors (SPF).

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KOSHO’S SUN PROTECTION SYSTEM AND CONVENTIONAL CHEMICAL AND MINERAL FILTERS?

The conventional sun protection filters are either chemical or mineral protection filters, which can clog the skin pores. Kosho uses a sophisticated natural system that allows bacteria to grow in a hostile environment with high UV exposure or salt concentration. This protection system can also be applied to the skin and thus protects it in a natural way.

ARE PARABENS, PEGS AND MINERAL OILS CONTAINED IN THE PRODUCTS?

All Kosho products are free of parabens, PEGs, silicones, mineral oils and other critical chemical substances.

ARE ANIMAL TESTS CARRIED OUT FOR THE PRODUCTS?

Kosho has a very high responsibility towards nature and all living beings. All Kosho products are developed and manufactured without animal testing. Furthermore, since 11 March 2013 there has been a marketing ban in Europe for cosmetics whose safety has been tested on animals.

WHERE ARE KOSHO COSMETICS PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

Kosho’s research and development and production facilities are located in Switzerland. The exclusive organic Matcha extract is also produced in Switzerland. The organic Matcha green tea, the raw material of the valuable organic Matcha extract, grows on tea fields of licensed organic tea farmers in Japan. Only there can this unique natural product thrive under optimal conditions. And only in Japan do a few tea farmers still master the production of Matcha with the traditional granite stone mills.

WHY SHOULD I USE A PEELING?

A peeling cleanses the skin surface effectively. The Kosho Multi-Effect Peeling contains fine peeling bodies made of bamboo and rice, which release the dead skin cells from the uppermost skin layer, the cornea. By the rubbing movement they promote at the same time the blood circulation of the skin. This allows the skin to absorb up to 70 percent more active ingredients from subsequent care products after a peeling.

HOW LONG CAN THE PRODUCTS BE USED?

The period of use after opening is 6 months at room temperature.
